Communication about Covid-19

Dear Colleague,

I wanted to get in touch to share my thoughts and feelings with you during these difficult times. The consequences of COVID-19 are severe and we are devastated about the loss of life and worried about those currently suffering from the illness. We are also concerned about the potential impact of this pandemic on our own lives, financial circumstances, and future.

Now is the time to face these difficulties with determination. We must take precautions to protect our own lives and, by stopping the spread of the virus, to safeguard the lives of those around us. As a result, it is essential for the greater good that we stay disciplined and follow the orders of our governments. Now is not the time to complain or act selfishly; it is time for all of us to find our inner strength and keep going.

This is exactly what we aim to do at Cosentino. The company has taken various measures, many of them ahead of time, to offer people the greatest degree of protection. We re-evaluate these measures every day to adjust to the latest circumstances. We are closely monitoring the developing situation and are ready to make any sacrifice necessary to get through this period together.

We also continue to serve our clients. We are maintaining our production capacity and adjusting it to meet demand and serve our various markets. This is now our obligation as a responsible business: to prioritise the safety of people and act in the interests of the company’s sustainability and future plans for investment and job creation. Together, we will keep fighting and adapting to the challenges we face.
