In the serene north of Luxembourg, in Weiswampach, a refined architectural gem is taking shape: ANATURA & SENSA, a premium hotel complex by the Lamy Group. Under the direction of architect Olivier Louis, the project reflects a contemporary vision where sobriety and precision are key. "We aimed for purity. The material had to enhance the clarity of the volumes, without distraction." — Olivier Louis
Two volumes, one material
The design plays with contrast: a white, flowing structure versus a black, monolithic volume. Despite their differences, both buildings are visually unified by a single material: Dekton by Cosentino. "Dekton enabled us to achieve perfect flatness, fine joints, and outstanding color consistency."
From the earliest sketches, Dekton Sirius and Dekton Moone were chosen for their technical excellence: durability, low maintenance, and above all, precision. Custom-cut 4 mm panels ensure a seamless facade appearance. Technical challenges—bonding, joint treatment, logistics—were met through meticulous coordination and proven site expertise.
Freedom through independence
The Lamy Group, founded over 60 years ago, is a family-owned company that works exclusively on its own developments. This independence allows full creative freedom and innovation. "If a detail doesn’t work, we rethink it. Not to complicate things, but to improve aesthetics and efficiency."
For Olivier Louis, architecture must respond to evolving lifestyles. "We live fast, often away from home. Housing must become a space of calm and wellbeing, where materials play a vital role." He advocates for smart, sustainable, and accessible materials, and highlights the importance of acoustics: "Acoustics are the forgotten challenge. We need high-performance yet affordable solutions. If the quality is there, the market will follow."
Conclusion: Simplicity as luxury
With ANATURA, the Lamy Group proves that rigorous, minimalist architecture can elevate a technical material like Dekton into an aesthetic statement.
Here, the facade is not just cladding—it’s a compositional tool, revealing light, form, and time. A project that shows how simplicity, when crafted with precision, becomes a new kind of luxury.
