The talented Cristiane Carvalho was tasked with redesigning the iconic 7,314-square-foot Wemmy’s Kitchen & Lounge. This established venue has been a local institution for over 20 years and is known for its casual dining. When creating the design, Carvalho drew inspiration from the original venue but sought to elevate and transform it into a more upscale environment. The final result did just that: seamlessly meld modern and transitional design elements with a hint of luxury that touches every corner, from the fine dining area to the lounge, kitchen, and baths.
Cosentino was selected in several applications due to its versatility, quality, and modern aesthetic which imparted a distinctive style to the project. Dekton Laurent can be seen in a wall cladding application throughout the restaurant perfectly complementing the dark and moody Dekton Kelya table tops.
Additionally, the imposing bar is adorned with Silestone Copper Mist, a sustainable surface characterized by its chocolate brown color with gold specks. Making our way to the cooking station, the countertop boasts the stunning Dekton Sirius.
The Cosentino team provided exceptional support and comprehensive training for installers, which made the designer confident in her selection of Silestone and Dekton.
