Dekton® by Cosentino, the new ultra-compact surface by Cosentino Group for architecture and decoration, has been presented to the leading companies in the machine tool sector for the treatment and processing of surfaces.
This first technical seminar specifically focusing on Dekton®, which forms part of the launch and communication programme of the new Cosentino product has brought together a total of 27 companies from different countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, the U.S. and South Korea, among others.
The participants had the opportunity to learn about Dekton® in depth, witness the manufacturing process first hand, based on the exclusive Particle Sintering Technology (PST), and study its extraordinary features and properties such as low water absorption, colour stability, dimensional stability and high resistance to compression, flexural strength, impact, abrasion, staining, frost and thaw, scratching, ultraviolet rays, heat and fire. They have also been able to view the decor in volume that the material provides, the large size of the slabs and the different shades and textures of the innovative product.
At the end of the day, the representatives of these prestigious companies were remarkably impressed with this major business project and the excellent product, likewise, they wanted to emphasise the clear business potential of Dekton® by Cosentino in the world of architecture and design.
Dekton® by Cosentino is the largest commercial and technological challenge carried out to date by Cosentino. This new material is the result of more than five years of intensive work, a financial investment of 128 million euros and 22,000 hours of research by the Cosentino Group R&D department.
