Dekton Entzo brings out the light in this Jakarta home

When a home is filled with natural light, the best way to enhance its brightness is to choose light or neutral colours and finishes, even glossy surfaces, to reflect this light and create a cosy, homely atmosphere in every room. Seggio Home kept this in mind when designing this home in Jakarta, Indonesia. With large floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple levels and shared spaces, visual and aesthetic coherence was essential to give the project a sense of unity.

To maintain a consistent look throughout, warm colours were used to harmonise all the spaces. In addition to a similar colour palette, Cosentino finishes were chosen for several areas, including the kitchen, bathroom, living room and workspace.

“The highlight of this project is the workspace. The large floor-to-ceiling windows not only allow an abundance of natural light to flood the space, creating a bright and airy atmosphere, but also provide a seamless connection between the interior spaces. The linear design complements the overall clean, streamlined look of the room, which is further emphasised by the large window, elegant desk and light wooden floor. This element adds visual interest without overwhelming the space, making it a key focal point within the interior design,” explains the designer.

To select the best finishes, the studio found it useful to consider several factors, such as “the client’s specific requirements, which included a preference for low-maintenance surfaces, a light and airy atmosphere and a minimalist aesthetic. Understanding their lifestyle provided insight into why certain materials and design elements were chosen”.

With these considerations in mind, Dekton Entzo was the perfect fit. “The Cosentino materials used in our project not only enhance the space aesthetically with their modern and elegant finishes, but also offer practical benefits such as durability, stain resistance and low maintenance. These qualities make them ideal for high-traffic areas that require long-lasting beauty, such as living room, kitchen and bathroom surfaces,” he emphasises.

Thus, the elegant veined white of Dekton Entzo can be found in various pieces of furniture in the living area, as well as in the kitchen, bathrooms and, of course, the beautiful work table.
