In 2025, Agence Première Ligne undertook the complete renovation of its premises in Cap Ferret, with the ambition of creating a space that is both professional and welcoming, deeply rooted in its territory. Designed by Mathieu Vaissié of Vaissié Studio, the project follows a sensitive and contemporary architectural approach in which materiality becomes the primary vehicle of identity.
The volumes are intentionally clear and legible, circulation flows naturally, and the atmosphere is shaped by a subtle balance between warmth, rigor and attention to detail. A chromatic palette dominated by earthy, sandy and mineral tones creates an immediate sense of comfort and coherence, enhanced by a carefully considered use of light and texture.
At the heart of the space, the Avocatus table stands as a manifesto piece. Crafted from Scalea Avocatus natural stone, its tabletop reproduces the outline of the Arcachon Bay, transforming local geography into a sculptural and graphic element. More than a functional object, the table becomes a focal point for work, meetings and exchange, embodying a strong sense of place. The deep green nuances of the stone and its organic veining echo the aquatic landscapes of the basin, allowing the material itself to tell a story that is both architectural and emotional.
The bathrooms fully express the project’s philosophy, where aesthetics and performance are inseparable. The choice of Dekton Kraftizen, in Umber and Nacre, makes it possible to recreate the look and feel of polished concrete while eliminating its technical constraints. Dekton Umber, with its warm, earthy tones, adds depth and character, while Dekton Nacre, lighter and subtly pearlescent, reflects light and softens the volumes. These ultra-compact surfaces offer outstanding resistance, long-term stability and easy maintenance, making them particularly suitable for heavily used spaces, while maintaining a matte, mineral and contemporary appearance.
Floors and vanity tops are finished in Dekton Pietra Kode Marmorio, a contemporary reinterpretation of travertine that brings brightness and balance to the interiors. Its soft, gently veined texture enhances the sense of continuity and contributes to the creation of almost monolithic volumes, designed to stand the test of time. Installation and the fabrication of the custom-made vanity basins were carried out by Cereja Carrelage, whose craftsmanship is evident in the precision of the lines, the control of edges and the quality of the assemblies. Each element is treated as an architectural component in its own right, reinforcing the overall coherence of the project.
Through this renovation, Mathieu Vaissié asserts a clear architectural signature, defined by an acute sensitivity to materials, proportions and light. Interior architecture becomes a language capable of expressing the identity of a place while meeting demanding requirements in terms of use and durability. The Agence Première Ligne project in Cap Ferret thus illustrates a contemporary, context-driven vision of architecture, where Dekton, natural stone and artisanal expertise come together to create spaces that are functional, elegant and deeply connected to their environment.
