Solhouse 6035 emerges in Burnaby's Central Park district as a modern sanctuary blending urban nature and residential elegance. The show flat, completed in 2023, previews the 50-storey tower set to be completed by 2029, guided by Gensler's architectural design and CHIL Interior Design's furniture-mineral narrative.
This project embodies a philosophy: "finding luxury in stillness through disconnection, self-care, and well-being. Each space is designed to invite moments of tranquillity and contemplation that evoke a deep and lasting connection with nature. With a thoughtful, purposeful, and human-centred approach, we have curated a palette of exclusive materials that embody tranquillity, grounding, and calm."
Exceptional beauty and technical performance
The choice of Cosentino finishes in Dekton Helena, Dekton Arga, Dekton Kelya, and Sensa Taj Mahal reflects a meticulous pursuit of stony beauty and exceptional technical performance. Dekton, the ultracompact surface, replicates the dramatic veining and organic flows of natural stones but with impenetrable solidity. It was chosen for its aesthetics and its resistance to scratches, stains, UV rays, and heat, essential elements for applications in both kitchens and bathrooms across all residential units.
"Our clients were particularly impressed by the performance we observed in the showroom, with its high resistance to scratches, stains, UV rays, and heat, making it an ideal choice for both kitchens and bathrooms in the three Solhouse Residential Tower projects."
Dekton and Sensa bringing elegance
As the team summarises, "Dekton was the ideal choice as it replicates the timeless beauty of natural stone with advanced features, prioritising durability and serenity in every space."
Complementing this variety of Dekton colours, the designers also chose the natural stone Sensa Taj Mahal for the worktop and island of the main kitchen.
The combined use of thicknesses allowed for the design of worktops and splashbacks that achieve a delicate visual balance. The purity of the natural finish creates uniformity and sobriety, while the polished finish enhances the veining patterns. In the sample gallery, the slabs become sculptural protagonists, capable of inspiring with just a glance.
