Pavilion Hilltop is a high end residential development in Mont’Kiara, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The area boasts a wide range of facilities and services, including several international schools, a golf course, an equestrian club, various shopping centres and many bars and restaurants.
This is where the Ori Refuge project is located: “We were commissioned to decorate a luxurious house majestically perched on the highest point of Mont Kiara. It takes a masterful approach to honour such a place”, the studio says. To achieve this, the studio opted for strong lines and a total look in white with details in neutral and dark shades, achieving a minimalist and contemporary result.
“White is reminiscent of light, lightness and purity. At the same time, the decoration and different details are sober and restrained, yet exude character and sophistication. The clean lines and geometric details captivate the eye, guiding it and providing a dramatic architectural effect”, the studio explains.
A stain-resistant worktop in ‘perfect’ white
To round off the space with durable, quality materials, the studio chose Cosentino products. “We wanted a bright, pure white colour that was also high performance. Silestone was the perfect choice”, the studio says. “Iconic White offers the purest, lightest and brightest quartz surface, just what we were looking for”, the studio further says.
The professionals allude to the perfect, bright white shade used for the kitchen worktop. This shade has been upgraded with the N-Boost technology, which intensifies its colour and makes it more resistant to stains and scratches.
Dekton is also present in the kitchen, located in a large open space together with the living and dining room. Specifically, the colour used for this space was Dekton Kovik, a very natural grey shade with a neutral background and subtle graphics. Its structure is characterised by the organic movements of its veins against a light background.
Marble-inspired Dekton and Silestone colours for a sophisticated bathroom
The designers chose Silestone Calacatta Gold for the walls and floor of the bathroom, which becomes a small, fine jewel box. Featuring a white background crossed by elegant, thick grey veins and surprising golden details, this shade is reminiscent of one of the most appreciated marbles of ancient times for its eternal and distinguished look.
This spacious and sophisticated bathroom features another Cosentino product. It is Dekton, an ultra-compact, carbon neutral surface throughout its life cycle. Specifically, the colour chosen was Dekton Kelya, an elegant black shade inspired by dark marbles with light veins that create very unique atmospheres.
Cosentino, ensuring reliability and quality
“The versatility of Cosentino products allowed us to bring our creative vision to life and achieve a cohesive look throughout the space”, the studio says.
And they further say: “In addition, the durability and attractive appearance of the materials made them the perfect choice for these high-use areas. In fact, the use of this established brand, backed by a warranty, helped to increase the confidence of the customer, making them assured of their decision to choose Cosentino for its high quality and durability”.
Indeed, the studio is particularly pleased with the attention received by the company: “Cosentino provided us with different sample sizes, which were very useful when showing them to the customer. We particularly appreciate the services provided by its representatives, which made it very easy to integrate their materials into our proposal. We are very pleased with the results and could not be happier with our decision to use Cosentino materials in this project”.
