Danver and Dekton create a high-performance outdoor kitchen in California

When a seasoned commercial developer set out to build his custom home in Monte Sereno, California, he drew inspiration from years of experience designing high-performance restaurant spaces. His vision was clear: create an outdoor environment that could handle everything from casual family dinners to full-scale entertaining, while also serving as a welcoming hangout for his teenagers and their friends.

To bring this to life, an interdisciplinary team of experts partnered with Danver Outdoor Kitchens to craft a multi-zone outdoor kitchen tailored for both beauty and utility. Four standout features anchor the design: a multi-functional bar equipped with Zip Water service, ice maker, and hidden TV wall, a custom Argentine grill, a Valoriani pizza oven, and even a discreet built-in wine cave.

Throughout the space, Dekton surfaces deliver the visual impact and performance needed for this ambitious layout. Chosen for their non-porous composition, resistance to heat and UV rays, and striking finishes, the Dekton countertops seamlessly complement the stainless steel cabinetry from Danver while standing up to the demands of year-round use.

This project showcases how Dekton delivers the rugged performance needed for outdoor applications and the elevated aesthetic that luxury residential clients demand.
