A family kitchen for a large open plan space in a converted mill. The central island, standing at 4.6 x 1.35m, was to form the main working area for the kitchen. Dekton Argentium was chosen, and mitre joined to give 60mm thick appearance to the island surface. The sink area work surface and splashback was then fabricated from Sensa Vancouver quartzite to add a luxurious back drop to the kitchen.
