A modern façade in neutral tones to stand the test of time
The new DoubleTree by Hilton in Hobart, Tasmania, is an example of how a façade can do much more than “dress up” a building: it can define its character and enhance the space it occupies.
Seamlessly integrated into the surrounding urban development, the hotel is characterised by its ventilated façade, a feature that makes it a modern architectural icon.
When materiality transforms an indoor kitchen into an outdoor space.
The Ombra house is a perfect example of how good design enhances a space by creating a harmony between aesthetics and functionality, adapting organically to its surroundings.
The focal point of the kitchen is a stunning central island made with Dekton Laurent, which stands out for its curved design, achieved thanks to detailed craftsmanship.

The Townshend residence in Australia features Dekton surfaces indoors and out
Located in Subiaco, Australia, the Townshend residence is a luxury project characterised by the perfect integration of indoor and outdoor spaces.
Designed by the Transform WA architecture studio, this home is a testament to how high quality materials can enhance both the functionality and aesthetics of a modern home.

The elegance of Dekton: a stunning façade for the Glendalough campus of St Kevin’s College in Melbourne
In the heart of Melbourne’s suburb Toorak, on the Glendalough campus of St Kevin’s College, Chandler Architecture was commissioned to design a new multi-purpose facility that would integrate seamlessly with the existing buildings while creating a tranquil environment for students and staff.
The two-storey building, with its considerable scale, required a material that offered a natural visual finish, yet was lightweight. The solution was found in Dekton, as Loris Rebeschini, associate architect at the studio, explains:
“The great thing about Dekton is that it is durable and very low maintenance, so it met all the requirements of our design brief. Dekton strikes the perfect balance between beauty and functionality”.

Transforming a characterless space into a sophisticated and luxurious home
Steve Johnson, head of interior design and architecture studio Retreat Design, has undertaken a unique transformation of a private home in the heart of Peppermint Grove, one of Perth’s most exclusive suburbs.
The architect has completely redesigned the kitchen, pantry, TV room and office, giving them that perfect touch of luxury and sophistication that is so hard to achieve. Thanks to the team’s expertise, these areas now communicate with each other through the consistent and elegant use of Dekton.

This clinic gains in sophistication and hygiene thanks to Dekton Rem
“Say goodbye to pain, anxiety and clinical environments and embrace a refreshing, relaxed and warm experience”.
This ethos is at the heart of Proud Smile, a dental clinic in Queensland, Australia, renowned for its innovative approach to dental care.
Naturally, the design of the clinic reflects this philosophy, with neutral, light tones complemented by the inviting warmth of wood and the elegant sophistication of Dekton Rem. The latter material graces the flooring, wall cladding, worktops, fronts, reception desk and even the façade.
