Breakfast or crafting with the kids, this kitchen withstands it all thanks to Dekton

“The other day, the kids and I played with playdough, with food colouring everywhere, and it cleaned up in an instant. On one hand, there’s Dekton Sabbia, an ultra-compact surface inspired by travertine, offering soft beige and grey tones with random veining, providing a natural and cosy look, perfect for the two kitchen surfaces and the island, in harmony with the neutral tones of the rest of the home.

On the other hand, there’s the small (but important) bar area, finished in Dekton Arga: “we wanted something truly special in this area, and it works spectacularly.” Dekton Arga is a durable and ultra-compact surface inspired by Taj Mahal quartzite, with a creamy beige base and dramatic, hyper-realistic brown-golden veining and a dazzling sheen, ideal for luxurious interior and exterior applications like benchtops and cladding, thanks to its resistance to heat, UV rays, scratches, and stains, offering beauty and high performance.

Last but not least, the surface for the laundry area needed to be defined—a place where the focus is solely on doing the laundry without worrying about the surfaces accompanying the process. That’s why the exquisite whiteness of Dekton Albarium was chosen, an off-white colour inspired by marble dust and Roman stucco, offering a fine texture with subtle light reflections, durable and resistant to scratches, stains, and heat.
