Sensa and Dekton Take Centre Stage in This Sophisticated Australian Home

In Hawthorn South, Australia, this home designed by Tony Warren of JAG Living blends masculine and classic elements with dark tones as the core of its style. To unify the design across the two kitchens, living area, and en-suite bathroom, Cosentino materials were chosen for their aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Sensa Black Beauty takes center stage as the fireplace surround, while Sensa Sant Angelo is used for the kitchen worktop, island, and splashback. The materials' low maintenance and high stain resistance were key benefits. Outdoors, Dekton Grafite is featured in the kitchen, offering resistance to UV rays, heat, and scratches, making it an ideal choice for the space.

Bellevue Hill House: Unique Materials for a Design Haven in Sydney

Located in an exclusive Sydney enclave, Bellevue Hill House is a contemporary masterpiece by Walter Barda Design and Stanwix Studios. The design uses Cosentino’s Dekton to create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. Large format panels were chosen to unify the flooring, pool area, and staircase, enhancing the flow and aesthetic of the home.

Dekton’s versatility is showcased throughout the house, from flooring to wall cladding and the swimming pool. Its durability and resistance to water and foot traffic made it the ideal choice for high-performance areas. The consistent use of the material also helped create a sense of continuity, with the same tile flowing throughout the entire space.

The project highlights Cosentino’s commitment to quality, as the materials met safety and durability standards, ensuring long-lasting beauty and functionality. This home is a true testament to how thoughtful material selection elevates design, providing both style and practicality in a harmonious living space.

Warm Minimalism and Dekton in this house in Australia

Westwood, a pilot home in Sinagra, Australia, designed by Liz Maxwell and Stage Avenue Interior Design, embodies warm minimalism with open spaces and a refined monochromatic color palette. The design focuses on simplicity and functionality, using shades of grey, white, and black to create a harmonious flow throughout the home.

Dekton plays a key role in achieving this aesthetic. Dekton Grigio is used for the exterior decorative pillar, fireplace wall, and kitchen countertops, bringing elegance and contemporary style to large surfaces. Dekton Rem is featured in the laundry and bathroom countertops, providing a clean, minimalist finish. The material’s large-format slabs minimize visible joints, contributing to the home's sleek, uncluttered design.

With Dekton’s versatility, durability, and seamless appearance, it’s the perfect fit for creating a sophisticated and functional space that enhances the sense of openness and harmony in the Westwood home.

A House in Australia with Mediterranean Charm

The Casa del Sol residence, designed by Liz Maxwell of Stage Avenue Interior Design, captures the essence of Mediterranean and Spanish architecture, bringing warmth and coastal charm to Australia. Inspired by the sunny Mediterranean regions, the home features earthy textures and light, neutral colors, with Dekton Sabbia used for the kitchen island, worktop, and splashback, creating a rustic yet elegant feel.

For the bathrooms and laundry, Dekton Zenith, with its pristine white and matte finish, evokes the whitewashed villages of Andalusia, offering a sleek and timeless look. The minimalist lines and narrow joints of Dekton enhance both the beauty and practicality of the space, ensuring durability and hygiene.

Maxwell’s design balances contemporary aesthetics with timeless charm, blending natural light, warm fabrics, and wrought iron details to evoke a sense of Mediterranean elegance. Casa del Sol seamlessly merges old-world allure with modern functionality, creating a home that feels both fresh and enduring.
