Cosentino has unveiled its new Cosentino City in the heart of Sydney, providing customers with a creative destination to imagine, create, experiment, and bring spaces to life.

The new design destination, located at One30 Hyde Park, Elizabeth Street, allows customers to enjoy the complete Cosentino experience in an engaging, dynamic and social space. Through state-of-the-art interactive zones, customers can find design inspiration and creatively experiment with not only Cosentino’s complete range but also a variety of specially chosen materials.

“It’s an interactive space and an arena for creativity,” says Con Papadakis, Cosentino’s Regional Director of Oceania. “It also demonstrates the versatility that Cosentino brings to the architecture and design market and offers a better understanding of the brand, company and our capabilities.”

Conceived as a modular space, the Cosentino City brings different experiences to the customer as they move throughout. A designer’s atelier, digital experience booth, live kitchen and large format slab areas, provide the architecture and design community with a destination to meet clients and find inspiration.

The atelier is the first of its kind in Australia. It showcases Cosentino’s extensive collection of, Dekton®, Silestone®, Sensa®  & Natural Stone surfaces, as well as other popular and bespoke materials used in Australian interiors. For example, you can match your stone surfaces with soft furnishings from Kvadrat Maharam or complete colour schemes with hardware from Savage Designs. Samples are stored in open timber shelving so that customers can easily play around with products to create schemes and generate digital mood boards. “The atelier allows you to create contexts and develop moodboards in a way that enriches the experience and facilitates the most adequate decisions and choices for each project,” says Damián Granados-Iorca Soto, Cosentino Global Marketing Director.

Cosentino’s integration of state-of-the-art digital technology, takes the design experience to the next level with a digital experience booth powered by AR technology. “The booth allows visitors to recreate rooms and 3D elements which can be virtually displayed, moved around and explored in detail, along with our Dekton®, Silestone® and Sensa® materials in a very intuitive way,” says Damián Granados-Iorca Soto.

The impressive live kitchen is another space for customers to create and experiment with product. A series of Dekton® slabs form the backdrop to the kitchen, creating a façade system with HD screens. An augmented reality module also displays real-scale 3D models, enabling clients to see and test products.

In its true form, the live kitchen will host diverse culinary experiences. These demonstrations provide the perfect platform to showcase the unrivalled qualities and design possibilities of Cosentino’s innovative Dekton surfaces. The kitchen island pairs together two Dekton® favourites, Bergen with Sirius, while the cabinetry showcases ultra-fine Dekton® Slim, an ideal choice for bespoke cabinetry and furniture.

Downstairs you will find a room to concentrate, imagine and present. The meeting room walls, and table are clad with Dekton® Zenith, joining Dekton® Kreta on the floor. The table was designed as a module piece to be moved around the room in order to fit more participants. The white Zenith table and walls create a harmonious space for creative thinking or as a quiet place to engage one on one with customers.

Cosentino is thrilled to welcome you into the new Cosentino City, a destination offering infinite design possibilities and inspiration for you next project.
