Cosentino, world leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for architecture and design, has announced its official entry into the Tasmanian market.
Cosentino celebrated its expansion into the Apple Isle last night with a launch event at Waterside Pavillion for local and interstate customers, partners and friends. Cosentino showcased its signature Silestone and Dekton ranges, including seven new colours which join the Dekton collections this month.
Cosentino’s Tasmanian expansion comes through an ongoing agreement with Heritage Stone, one of the leading local fabricators who will expand its work as a distributor and support of Cosentino in Tasmania. As Cosentino seeks to expand across the state, the brand will look to offer new customer service and sales support to customers.
Cosentino’s extensive range of products will be available to customers in Tasmania, including six new colours within the Dekton® by Cosentino range; an ultracompact surface with almost limitless applications. Cosentino’s Silestone® collection will also be stocked locally, with more than 60 colours and three textural options; matt, suede and volcanic, guaranteed to suit any design or style.
Gary Isherwood, Area Director for Cosentino Australia, comments: “We’re really excited to be officially launching in the Tasmanian market and couldn’t have done it without the support of the team at Heritage Stone. Tasmania has a reputation for really beautiful, authentic design inspired no doubt, by the stunning natural environment here. And while the state may be small in size, Tasmania’s design industry is mighty so we’re really looking forward to strengthening our relationships with customers.”
Cosentino continues to build momentum locally since launching in Australia in 2011. In recent years, the business has expanded from one facility nationally to six warehouses and showrooms across NSW, Victoria and Queensland, including the recently revamped Cosentino City Centre Showroom located in Sydney’s design precinct, Alexandria.
