Cosentino celebrates the official opening of its New Zealand Cosentino Centre
May 22, 2019
Cosentino officially opened its newest showroom in East Tamaki, Auckland, with a lively celebration to reflect the company’s Spanish heritage. Cosentino tantalised guests with paella, fire breathers and Spanish dancers, and all the latest collections from Dekton®, Silestone® and Sensa®.
More than 250 guests attended the cocktail event held on 19 May 2019, including, interior designers, builders, stone masons and media. A fire breather greeted guests on arrival before they went upstairs to the showroom for pre-drinks and to see Cosentino’s materials in action. Rotating stands featuring the latest Cosentino collections and colours provided a luxurious backdrop, and guests gathered around the island bench clad with dark and inky Dekton® Domoos and the ultrarealistic stone-inspired Dekton® Bergen.
The main event then took place in the factory with live music, Spanish dancers and chefs cooking and serving delicious paella. Guests could also get up close and personal with a display of Cosentino slabs, of which 8,000 are stored in the factory.
Cosentino team members from around the world attended the event, with Nicolas Carajannis (New Zealand General Manager), Con Papadakis (Regional Director Oceania) and Ginés Navarro (VP of Sales) cutting the ribbon and giving speeches.
The launch of the New Zealand Cosentino Centre demonstrates Cosentino’s ongoing commitment to the Australasian market. The brand-new showroom provides clients and visitors with convenient access to products and expertise, and the open-door policy allows members of the public and industry to visit the showroom, view sample selections and have a tour of the factory to see the full-sized stone slabs.
