Dekton® by Cosentino the exclusive presenting partner for Local Milan No.4

This year, we are pleased to announce that our state-of-the-art ultra compact surface, Dekton® by Cosentino will be the presenting partner for LOCAL MILAN No.4.

As the greatest showcase of Australian design in the Milan Design Week, LOCAL MILAN will transform ten rooms in a two-level Palazzo, to showcase the 44 designers being featured. Cosentino are passionate supporters of Australian design and share LOCAL DESIGN’s vision to advance awareness and understanding of Australian design amongst a global audience.

Cosentino’s collection of innovative products, such as Dekton®Silestone® and Sensa®, provides infinite opportunities for architects, designers and renovators who value the highest quality surface solutions. Our partnership with Local Milan provides us the perfect platform to raise the profile of Australian design, both in Australia and on a global scale. As a global leader for design and innovation, our position allows us to assist elevate the Local Milan program and help put Australian design talent at the forefront of the industry.

COSENTINO CITY MILAN

Cosentino City Milan is a must-visit for decorators and interior designers, thanks to its freshly revamped display measuring over 100 m2. The latest product innovations from Cosentino for its innovative Dekton® and Silestone® surfaces take centre stage in the extensive areas that make up this spectacular showroom.

RAYTRACE BY COSENTINO AND BENJAMIN HUBERT

Raytrace”, the project devised by the designer Benjamin Hubert (LAYER) with Dekton® by Cosentino. This eye-catching installation comes in the form of a 25-metre long and 6-metre high triangular passageway made using Dekton® surfaces that appear to be balanced on one single edge within a dark, evocative space. Visitors can step inside a mesmerising design emulating the refraction of light through water. Nature and design go hand in hand with “Raytrace”.

BARCELONA CENTRA DE DISSENY

The “Barcelona Centre de Disseny” exhibition in Milan features a selection of stools from the “Dektonhenge” project that the potter and designer Xavi Mañosa (Apparatu) elaborated with Dekton® by Cosentino in 2016. Dektonhenge is an experimental project created by Xavier Mañosa that proposes a review of the origins of Dekton® surfaces. Working with Dekton® and transforming the raw material from its liquid to solid states, the artist puts it through a ductile and malleable process in the same way as when working with clays.

KOHLER

The bathroom manufacturer Kohler plays host to an experience for the senses in the historic Palazzo del Senato. At this large-scale exhibition, design and products are presented through a combination of water, technology, texture and colour. Dekton® and Silestone® are represented in this exhibition with a range of colours applied to designer countertops and tables.

MASTERLY

For the second year running, Cosentino will participate in this exhibition of Dutch designers and artisans taking place in the Palazzo Francesco Turati. Dekton® is the ultra-compact surface chosen by masters of creation including Bertram Beerdam (Borek) and Karel Bodegom (Bas Van Pelt) to present their innovative furnishing solutions.
