Wellness, Outdoor Living & Design: Cosentino x Cane-Line at Melbourne Design Week 2025
Melbourne Design Week 2025 has officially wrapped—and what an unforgettable week it was!
From May 15 to 25, Cosentino City Melbourne became more than just a showroom. In collaboration with Danish outdoor furniture brand Cane-Line and interior stylist and creative director Stella Taleb, we curated a unique experience at the intersection of wellness, design, and community.
Over the course of the week, our space transformed into a dynamic hub where creativity thrived, conversations flowed, and well-being took centre stage. Every activation was thoughtfully curated to explore the theme of wellness in design, and how the materials and spaces we live in can support both beauty and balance in our everyday lives.

Design Meets Wellness
The week began with an energising start. On Tuesday morning, our showroom was transformed into a wellness studio for a low-impact strengthening class led by Lexi Shimony. Guests moved, stretched, and recharged in a space surrounded by natural textures and calming design—followed by a nourishing breakfast and protein smoothies to start the day right.
Midweek, we invited guests to slow down and connect inward through a meditation and sound healing session with Jay Turner from Evolve Your Bliss. The immersive session offered an oasis of calm in the middle of the city, followed by grounding herbal tea and snacks. It was a beautiful reminder that design is not just about what we see—but also about how we feel.

Thought-Provoking Conversations
On Thursday, we were thrilled to host an inspiring evening with Stella Taleb of Studio S, in conversation with Mandy Loftus-Hills from The Local Project. Together, they explored how outdoor spaces can be designed as sanctuaries—places that prioritise wellbeing, sustainability, and authentic connection to the environment. Their conversation reminded us that great design doesn’t just serve a function; it tells a story, evokes emotion, and enhances our daily experience.
On Friday, we closed the week with a CPD lunch session led by Laura Neville, Cosentino's Architect & Design Sales Manager. Her talk on Mastering the Outdoors delved into the principles of creating durable, seamless outdoor spaces using innovative materials like Dekton. The session highlighted Cosentino’s commitment to performance, longevity, and beauty in all environments—indoor and out.

Thank You, Melbourne
Across all events, the response was overwhelming. We were honoured to welcome architects, designers, media partners, and members of our community who came together to celebrate the spirit of design. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our collaborators—Stella Taleb, Cane-Line, Lexi Shimony, Jay Turner, Mandy Loftus-Hills, and all our remarkable guests—for their energy, creativity, and dedication.
This week was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when design serves people. It was about more than trends or products—it was about meaningful connections, mindful spaces, and the pursuit of beauty that lasts.
We’re proud to have been part of Melbourne Design Week 2025 and look forward to continuing the conversation around wellness, innovation, and sustainable design. Stay tuned for more moments like these, and thank you for making this one so special.
