Tennis superstar Rafael Nadal and Cosentino co-host newest Dekton® Industrial Series collection in New York City.
The world’s number-one ranked tennis star and Dekton spokesperson, Rafael Nadal, made an appearance at an exclusive cocktail event at the Cosentino Manhattan City Center to officially launch the Dekton® Industrial Series. The tennis superstar celebrated alongside 100 of New York’s leading architects and designers to unveil the new collection.
The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, a world-class training facility sponsored by Cosentino, opened last year in his hometown of Manacor, Spain. Boasting more than 430,000 square feet inside and out of Dekton, an ultra-compact, ultra-durable architectural surface manufactured by Spain-based company. “When I was working with the architects who designed the Academy, I was incredibly drawn to both the strength and design of Dekton Trilium, the colour that inspired the new Industrial Collection,” Nadal says. “It beautifully captures weathered and worn metal, but with unparalleled performance.
Cosentino opens a new Center in Finland to strengthen the Group’s presence in Scandinavia.
The Helsinki Center represents a total investment of €850,000, and provides storage for some 5,000 slabs with its total surface area of 2,000m2. Cosentino’s operations in Finland are being kick-started with a team of 11 employees, some of which will also be dedicated to providing services to the Baltic countries.
With the opening of the new Cosentino Center Helsinki, the multinational now has a presence in the four main countries in the region, including Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
