Showroom Spotlight: Cosentino’s Vancouver Centre a one-stop-shop for surface design

The Cosentino Vancouver Centre is a space that gives architects, designers, project managers and consumers the chance to experience the wide range of Cosentino products, including Dekton ultra-compact surfaces, Silestone natural quartz, and Sensa natural stone. More importantly, is a space that stirs inspiration from the minute you walk through the door.

We caught up with Jesús Carreño Carrillo, General Manager for the British Columbia region to talk about the showroom and what the space has in store for British Columbia’s A&D community.

What can design professionals expect when visiting the Vancouver Centre?
Above all, we offer the A&D community inspiration! Our showroom does much more than just display our products. It’s a space where you can find a multitude of surfaces for both interior and exterior projects. The minute you step through the front door, you’ll find surfaces that are applicable to flooring, cladding, countertops, and facades in a variety of colours and textures. The possibilities are endless!

What sets the Vancouver Centre apart from other industry showrooms?
We have a dedicated professional staff ready to help our clientele of fabricators, installers, interior designers, architects, and everyday consumers. A personal touch is very important to us. We offer different solutions for every project, and can help with colour selection, point of view on installation, and make recommendations based on budget. Our showroom is a one-stop-shop when it comes to surface design solutions.

What are the important features that make for a well-designed showroom?
The showroom offers examples of installations of all our products, showing how they can be used. From fireplace cladding to an outdoor kitchen, it’s a great space to visualize the possibilities for your project. We also offer a state-of-the-art sample room complete with rendering software. You can actually design onsite.

Online slab images are not reflective of what a slab looks like in person, which is why physically coming in to visit the showroom is important. Having our slabs visible in full size, either in the showroom or in our warehouse, is really important to the overall experience. The warehouse acts as a visual extension of the showroom floor, where we have over seven thousand slabs available for viewing at any given time. It really helps our clients to understand the logistics and gives them the confidence that we can deliver on time.

What are the showroom hours?
We are open from 8am-4:30pm from Monday to Friday. We’re currently taking appointments, but drop-ins are welcome as well. Safety is a huge priority for us, and we have several precautions in place. We’re reducing the number of people in the showroom at a time, everyone must wear a mask and sanitize their hands, and visitors must have their temperature taken upon entry.

The Vancouver showroom is located at 8603 Glenlyon Pkwy in Burnaby, BC. To schedule an appointment, please call (778) 508-9867.
