Cosentino City Toronto hosts second CosArt event featuring photographer Tony Koukos
November 8, 2018
On Thursday, November 1, 2018, the Cosentino City Toronto Showroom hosted over 100 guests for the second CosArt event in support of the Children’s Breakfast Club. The charity works with over 20 community partners to provide a nutritious breakfast program for low income children in the most disadvantaged communities throughout Toronto. A total of $635 in donations was collected throughout the evening, with all proceeds going directly to the organization.
Cosentino turned their showroom into an exclusive art gallery featuring pieces from renowned photographer Tony Koukos. Tony is known for his travel photography and mixed medium approach including photo overlays in metal, glass, canvas and acrylic. His work will be on display at the Cosentino City Toronto showroom until January 15, 2019. A portion of the sales generated from the CosArt exhibit will be donated to the Children’s Breakfast Club.
“It was an honour having my work exhibited at the Cosentino Toronto CosArt event in support of the Children’s Breakfast Club. The event gave guests the opportunity to not only enjoy an evening of artistic photography, but also raised awareness for a fantastic local organization dedicated to children in need. I was happy to be a part of it,” said Tony Koukos.
The CosArt event would not be possible without the help of Stellar Art Services, Toronto’s preferred art services company for the interior design community. Stellar installed 50 of Tony’s pieces throughout the showroom, transforming the space into a unique gallery setting.
“We look forward to hosting more of these charity related events in the showroom. It gives us a chance to give back to the community in a special way”, said Suzy Margorian, Cosentino City Toronto Showroom Manager. “We are thankful to have had the support from Tony and Stellar Art Services to make this edition of CosArt a reality.”
Tony’s pieces will be on display for the public until January 15, 2019 at the Cosentino City Toronto showroom, located at 665 Caledonia Rd. The Toronto showroom will also be collecting new and gently used coats for the Children’s Breakfast Clubs Annual Coat Drive, running until February 15, 2019.
