Cosentino takes a step forward with international expansion

Cosentino continues to pursue its international expansion plans by investing in its own assets, which has made the Spain-based multinational one of the most globalized companies in the industry. In a year marked by social and economic challenges generated by Covid-19, Cosentino has maintained its investment commitment to diversifying markets and opening new Centres and showrooms called Citys.
Cosentino Centre Ottawa
Ottawa and Winnipeg joined the list of new Canadian Centres, bringing the total to six across the country. With a joint investment of more than 2 million euros (over $3.1 million CAD), the Ottawa Cosentino Centre has 21,530 sq ft of distribution space, as well as almost 2,700 sq ft of showroom and office space, satisfying the growing demand within the Ontario and Quebec regions.

The prairies are home to the new Winnipeg Cosentino Centre which officially launched earlier this year. This Centre is a unique facility that offers professionals and customers more than 21,530 sq ft of distribution space and a 3,230 sq ft state-of-the-art showroom.
Cosentino also opened its fourth Brazilian Centre in Rio de Janeiro, and has committed to invest 1 million euros in relocating and opening three additional warehouses across Europe in Lazio, Strasbourg and Berlin. These additional Centres will add to the company’s 54 existing locations across Europe and the UK.
Cosentino City Amsterdam
Cosentino is also excited to share the opening of new City showrooms in Barcelona, Tel Aviv and Amsterdam, and the relocation of Cosentino City Sydney from Alexandria to Sydney’s Central Business District. The relocation in Sydney follows the new model which Cosentino has created for this type of facility, where digitalization, cutting-edge technology and experimentation with materials are prominent features.

With these new openings and relocations, Cosentino will end this financial year with a total of 142 business and sales locations spread over five continents. This figure is broken down into 118 Centres, 15 Citys, four distribution hubs, and five logistics operators. Cosentino looks forward to future expansion in the year to come!
