Silestone helps transform kitchen on Love it or List it Vancouver

HGTV Canada’s hit television show Love it or List it Vancouver recently used Silestone in one of their latest episodes. The show features homeowners struggling with the decision of moving or redesigning their existing home with the help of a realtor and a designer.

David, his wife Jane and two kids love living in Vancouver. After surviving cancer twice, David and his family decided to move to the west coast to take advantage of the active lifestyle that comes with the city’s great outdoors. Unfortunately, the family had to downsize due to an extremely inflated real estate market. Longing for more space, they plead their case to interior designer Jillian Harris and real estate agent Todd Talbot for some help on whether to Love it or List it.

Jillian completely transformed the aging character home by creating a beautiful open concept kitchen and living room. The darker colour palette of the kitchen walls, cabinets and hardwood floors complement Silestone’s White Diamond countertops allowing the kitchen island to be one of the focal points of the room.

White Diamond is part of Silestone’s Eco Series, a state-of-the-art surface line that embraces sustainability, design and quality. It is manufactured from 75% of recycled materials including: glass, mirror, porcelain, earthenware and vitrified ash.

So did this family of four decide to stay in their newly designed home or did they choose put it on the market in hopes of finding a move-in-ready bigger space? You’ll have to watch the episode to find out!
