Silestone Trendspotters attend unveiling of Benjamin Moore’s 2017 Colour of the Year

Benjamin Moore recently announced their 2017 colour of the Year and to say it is the antithesis of their 2016 pick, Simply White, would be an understatement.

The colour chosen this year is Shadow, a deep saturated amethyst purple described by critics as bold, allusive and enigmatic. The vision behind the featured colour and its 22-shade corresponding palette was inspired by historical works of art from around the world.
On October 19th, the Silestone Trendspotters headed to New York City to attend the official Benjamin Moore 2017 Colour of the Year unveiling held at the New York Public Library. During the event, they were given the opportunity to discuss upcoming design trends with Benjamin Moore and popular plumbing fixture manufacturer, Kohler.
The Trendspotters, including Canada’s own Theresa Casey of Casey Design | Planning Group Inc., are gearing up for an exciting 2017 with plans to collaborate with Benjamin Moore and on an upcoming secret project featuring the new Shadow colour palette.
