Dekton by Cosentino in Khalo - Shown as Kitchen Worktop and Splashback
The BKU Awards have been running since 2015, designed to celebrate the very best retailers, brands, people and services within the kitchen and bathroom industry. Unlike other awards, the industry is the judging panel – with the finalists voted for using a secure online voting platform. The recipient of the highest number of votes wins. Cosentino’s brands have won six awards to date.
A carbon neutral product for its entire life cycle*; from the extraction of the raw material, right through to its use and end of life, it’s no surprise that Dekton is increasingly being recognised as a stand-out kitchen and bathroom product.
Dekton by Cosentino in Sky - Shown as Wall and Bath Cladding
Created by Cosentino through an ultra-compaction process, its benefits include heat, scratch, stain and UV resistance, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Work surface applications are primary, but its superior technical qualities mean it extends widely to exterior cladding, facades, furniture and flooring – to name a few.
Dekton Slim by Cosentino in Trilium - Shown as Cabinet and Wall Cladding
Initially available in a variety of thicknesses (8, 12 and 20mm), popular demand led to the launch of Dekton Slim - a super thin format of 4mm which caters for interior cladding and furniture creations. Large format slabs are also available up to 320cm x 144cm for bigger projects.
Watch this space to find out if Dekton by Cosentino can achieve the accolade of Best Work Surface Brand once again. Winners will be revealed on Friday 19th November 2021.
* Carbon neutrality has been achieved for the entire life cycle of Dekton covering Scopes 1, 2 and 3, from the extraction of the raw material, to the use of the product and the end of its life. This recognition, obtained through emission reduction and compensation projects certified by the United Nations, confirms the good practices of the Cosentino Group in terms of sustainability and environmental management.
