‘Best of Houzz 2018’ Winner Lisa Melvin Design Chooses Dekton®

The ‘Best of Houzz’ awards recognise the most popular content on the leading platform for home renovation and design, Houzz, and are voted for by the site’s 40 million monthly unique users. Lisa Melvin Design, a full project management and design service for property developers, self-build projects, architects, commercial enterprises and homeowners all over the UK, was honoured to receive a ‘Best of Houzz 2018’ award for Design.
Part of the Warwickshire-based Gallery Showroom, a kitchens and bathrooms studio, Lisa’s latest display showcases the popular, award-winning Dekton® Trilium surface.

Lisa says, “This space is a fully working room setting in our new Water Studio. We wanted to recreate a beautiful wellness spa room which is not only pleasing on the eye but practical too, with views over a waterfall filed lagoon. The space has strong Oriental influences, with a Toto bath, washbowl and shower toilet complementing the Japanese style window setting, whilst a beautiful glass sliding pocket door opens to reveal a stunning shower room.
Dekton® was the obvious choice for this project due to its beauty, durability and multifunction uses. Here, we used it to clad the bath, as well as using it for the countertop /dressing table and wall cladding. Being able to use different thickness in the same material was very advantageous, and another of the key reasons why Dekton® was chosen.”
