The world leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for architecture and design, the Cosentino Group is celebrating following another successful year at the UK’s largest gathering of the world’s best kitchen, bedroom and bathroom brands, KBB Birmingham.  Hosted at the Birmingham NEC from 4 – 7 March 2018, the show saw the Spanish multinational hosting hundreds of visitors on its biggest stand to date, with an impressive 170sqm set that included an exclusive VIP lounge.

The show marked the launch of exciting new additions for the company’s Silestone quartz surface brand and Sensa natural protected stone surfaces brand, as well as teasers of new concrete inspired designs coming soon for both the Silestone and Dekton ultra-compact surfaces.  New for Spring 2018, the Eternal Collection has been expanded with the addition of five stunning new colours: Bianco Calacatta, Classic Calacatta, Desert Silver, Eternal Emperador, and Eternal Marfil.   The new hues, showcased for the first time in the UK at KBB, are exclusive to Cosentino’s Elite Studios throughout 2018. Offering a contemporary, reinvented take on some of the most sought-after marbles and stones, the new colours range from soft creams and browns to delicate greys and whites and drew high praise at the show from industry insiders and press alike.

Also on show for the first time were the two new quartzites joining the Sensa by Cosentino Premium Collection, Taj Mahal and White Macaubas. The surfaces are the first quartzites to join the range, and have been carefully chosen, taking into account their composition and resistance to stains once treated with the revolutionary Senguard NK stain protection.

Cosentino also treated visitors to the stand with a teaser of new concrete inspired colours, as well as product demonstrations and stand tours.  The company’s Silestone, Dekton and Sensa brands could been seen throughout the show on various retailer stands, including Colin Wong’s ‘The Rock’ concept which featured four bespoke islands created in collaboration with four different stone brands and fabricators.

The ‘Arctic’ piece was fabricated by NeoGranite and featured a striking, hand chiselled Silestone Calacatta Gold top for an awe-inspiring finished look that was admired by visitors and shared widely on social media.

Commenting on the success of the show, Cosentino UK Area Director Paul Gidley said, “The show has been a great platform for us to launch the new designs, and well worth the investment in the stand – it’s been wonderful to see so many people come out despite the worries about the weather and we’re all delighted with the positive feedback on both the stand and the new colours.” Area Director for Cosentino Ireland, Mark Burke, added, “It’s been another fantastic year for us at KBB – footfall was incredibly high with an upbeat, positive atmosphere throughout.”
