The global leader in the production and distribution of surfaces for the world of architecture and design, the Cosentino Group will be hosting a series of events to celebrate its ultra-compact surface Dekton® at its UK flagship commercial design centre, Cosentino City London during London Design Festival. Located at 28-32 Old Street, the stunning showroom is situated in the hub of the architectural and design community.

Cosentino City London will open its doors to architects and designers for a series of must attend events: Monday 18th, Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Friday 22nd (5:30pm to 8:30pm) in September 2017.  On display for the first time will be five striking new Dekton® colours, and on Tuesday 19th from 5.30pm til late, Cosentino is giving visitors an exclusive chance to see Dektonclay, an installation by Spanish designer, Xavier Mañosa of Apparatu design studio.  Bubbles, oysters and exclusive tapas will be served throughout.

Cosentino City London is a destination for architects and designers to meet, see Cosentino’s product range and discover how the surfaces can be utilised for a wide range of projects.  Its hero surfaces, Dekton®, Silestone® and Sensa® decorate the space, offering visual and tactile aids.  A hands-on sample room allows visitors the chance to visualise projects using touch screen technology, where an impressive slab display interacts with screens to show how different colours and textures look both in detail and applied in a multitude of applications.  Colour palettes can be selected using clever sensor technology, creating a 3D mood board.

Available for visitors to see on the evening on Tuesday 19th September, Dektonclay is the work of Spanish designer, Xavier Mañosa of Apparatu design studio.  A handcrafted installation that demonstrates the versatility of Dekton®, it explores the idea of the kitchen through a collection of pieces that encompass cooking and eating.

Five new colours for Dekton® will also be available to preview throughout the course of the week’s events.  Cosentino has collaborated with renowned architect and designer, Daniel Germani on a new collection that replicates the effect of time on metal and cement, as well as a matte-gloss finish never seen before in these types of materials. Three new shades, Nilium, Radium and Orix join the award-winning Dekton® Trilium to create Dekton®’s Industrial collection.

Replicating the appearance of marble, Dekton® Opera and Natura offer a clean white surface with exquisite grey veining.  Specifiers can choose from a new soft touch, velvety finish in the beautiful Dekton® Opera, or a high gloss polished design featuring subtle lining in the Dekton® XGloss Natura.
