The Cosentino Group, has been listed in the “50 Best Companies to Work For” ranking.

The list has been put together by the Spanish edition of the prestigious Forbes magazine title, Forbes España.  It details the 50 best companies to work for, featuring only those with more then one thoen-gbnd employees and with a base or presence in Spain.  The study is based on the opinions of more than 8,000 employees from the biggest companies across all industries in Spain.

Forbes España has compiled the list in partnership with the market research and survey company, Sigma Dos, who has been in charge of the survey, for this first Spanish edition of the ranking.  Participating companies were subject to a thorough process before being shortlisted as one of the ’50 Best Companies’. This included a survey of at least 80 of their employees. Aspects included their company’s culture, work environment, human resource policies and professional development opportunities.

As a leading Spanish company, the Cosentino Group currently employs a workforce of over 4,400, across 75 different nationalities.  Last year, Cosentino created nearly 400 new direct jobs.

This special ’50 Best Companies’ issue of the magazine was presented at an exclusive cocktail party which was hosted on Thursday 21 March at the Hotel Santo Mauro in Madrid.  Representing the Cosentino Group at the event were talent management director, Alonso Fernández Bombin and talent development specialist, Olga Sánchez.  The event was hosted by president and editor of Forbes España, Andrés Rodríguez together with the CEO of Sigma Dos, Gerardo Iracheta.
