Cosentino Helps Design New Hyundai Showroom in Israel

Under the guidance of Peri-Davidovich Architects, Cosentino Israel has recently helped finish the interior floor design of Hyundai’s ambitious new Israel showroom, which covers 4,268 square metres of space. The showroom is yet another example of popular automobile stores, including Mazda-Ford and Mercedes, in which Cosentino Israel has been a part of.  Founded by Hanan Peri and Shalom Davidovich in 1988, Peri-Davidovich is one of the largest architecture and design firms in Israel. Its work ranges from private homes to high-rise buildings, offices and shopping malls situated in Europe and across Africa.

Cosentino Israel Hyundai

The team was tasked with surfacing the showroom floor with an original, custom creation that would generate as little residue as possible.  A striking hexagonal floor design with contrasting aluminium grouting comprises of 12 tiles in varying shapes to help showcase Hyundai’s models, with the premium cars resting on larger slabs for an eye-catching look.

Dekton Domoos Hyundai

Fabricated in half-inch thick Dekton Sirocco and Dekton Domoos slabs, the ultra-compact surface was chosen thanks to its superior technical and aesthetic properties. Ideal for high traffic areas such as hallways and flooring, Dekton boasts a high resistance to stains and scratches and is less prone to wear and tear. Available in large format slabs, the material can be custom formatted to suit a range of design possibilities and is a popular with architects and designers alike.
