Cosentino is delighted to present the 15th edition of the international Cosentino Design Challenge (CDC) for students in architecture and design. The competition’s organising team has announced the content of this initiative through a global online event which, once again, challenges architecture and design students from all over the world to research and create. Students have until 1st June 2021 to submit their projects. Learn more in the video below.
Cosentino is looking for inspiring projects which contribute great ideas to the following themes. In the category Architecture, Cosentino calls for projects based on the theme “Kitchens with soul – new visions for everyday spaces”. Meanwhile, in the category Design, students are asked to reflect on “Cosentino… material and sensations”. Participants have absolute freedom to develop their projects with the only requirement being that they include some of the innovative surfaces that Cosentino offers the world of architecture and design: Silestone, Dekton and/or Sensa by Cosentino.
Cosentino Design Challenge is an initiative in line with Cosentino’s commitment to the talent and creativity of future professionals from both disciplines, which are so closely related to the company’s business and activity. The CDC is a unique and prestigious opportunity that connects students with the materials and products of a leading company that they will eventually use in their real work projects. The support and collaboration of 32 international schools and universities, as well as its participation figures (last year’s edition once again exceeded the number of projects assessed by the judges), are proof of the prestige of the Cosentino Design Challenge.
