Championed by managing director, Christophe Gontier, Cosentino UK and Ireland is proud to announce that it is supporting the Blood, Sweat & Gears charity bike ride in aid of Help for Heroes.  The gruelling seven-day cycle ride will take place from the 24 April – 1 May, and challenges riders to a demanding 320-mile route across the Western Cape of South Africa, encompassing 22,000ft of punishing climbs and seven mountain passes.

Blood, Sweat & Gears is the brainchild of PWS CEO, Mark Stephenson, who will lead a team of four veterans, their support staff and PWS colleagues on the cycling challenge, with the goal of raising £250,000 to support the psychological well being activities and programmes offered by Phoenix House Recovery Centre, Catterick. The centre, run by Help for Heroes forms part of the Defence Recovery Capability, and has been specially designed to offer the very best recovery atmosphere for veterans and their families.

Christophe Gontier, managing director for Cosentino UK and Ireland says, “We have a long standing relationship with PWS and are delighted to support Mark and the team on such a great cause.”
