Dekton Liquid Wins Gold Award at the 2020 Designer Awards

Dekton Liquid, Cosentino’s innovative surface collection designed in collaboration with London based studio, PATTERNITY has won a prestigious Gold Award within the Innovation in Kitchen Product Design category in the 2020 Designer Awards .
Following being shortlisted back in September, the new collection impressed an elite panel of industry judges, with the Award being announced via a virtual event on YouTube with over 200 people in attendance. Recognising the best kitchen and bathroom design projects and products in the UK and worldwide, the Designer Awards is celebrated annually by world renowned designers, architects and professionals.
Paul Gidley, UK Regional Director at Cosentino said, “Rounding off a tough year with another industry award win has really boosted morale in the business. This particular collection, Dekton Liquid, was launched back in March before the pandemic and received a fantastic reception, and it’s really important for us to see it continuing to receive the attention it deserves, and especially impress those in the design and architecture industry.”

Pattern experts and designers, Anna Murray and Grace Winteringham of PATTERNITY, worked with Cosentino to create the Dekton Liquid collection that embodies the state-of-the-art material. Inspired by liquid, each of the individual colours are aesthetically innovative and as a collection, touch on the future of global trends. True to the PATTERNITY ethos, the collection’s concept centres around the beauty of nature, environmental awareness and celebrating sustainable design practice.
