Cosentino Introduces Silestone Loft Series
The world’s leading brand in quartz surfaces, Silestone by Cosentino, is delighted to be introducing the Silestone Loft Series. Comprising of two colours, Brooklyn and Silver Lake, the new collection offers a fresh and contemporary take on the industrial and architectural look of concrete and cement. They are the result of months of hard work by the Cosentino R&D department and boast an innovative new finish, raw. Raw masterfully replicates the feel and look of building materials such as cement and concrete, offering a surface that combines a light texture with a sublime matt finish.
The Concrete Surface Trend
The new Silestone Loft Series plays into the traditional Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi (侘寂), which is the acceptance of transition and seeing the beauty in imperfection. The new colours are the essence of pared back design, offering both elegance and a nod to the trend for urban inspired aesthetics. Industrial design is currently popular with interior designers and architects alike, and with this new collection, Cosentino has once again listened to its customers. The result is a considered, premium solution that combines the latest trends with Silestone’s industry leading technology.
Paul Gidley, Area Director for Cosentino UK, says, “Industrial interiors continues to be a strong trend here in the UK, and following the success of our previous Dekton Industrial Collection last year ahead of the curve, we’re delighted to now be offering customers additional urban inspired looks for our ever-popular Silestone quartz surfaces. The Silestone Loft Series marks a step away from harsher and darker hues and we are sure that these softer, neutral concrete tones will be a hit.”
Launching October 2018, Silestone Loft Series will comprise of two initial colours:
An intense grey hue with the effect of weathered concrete, Brooklyn achieves an authentic concrete look. A surface that would not look out of place in range of different environments, it is both rustic and industrial. Character and depth has been created through carefully considered yet seemingly random details.
Silestone Silver Lake
An elegant take on poured concrete, Silver Lake offers a soft and subtle design that evokes a sense of movement. Pared back and minimal, Silver Lake has a unique beauty that would suit both contemporary and traditional spaces, giving the effect of a soft grey patina.
