Situated in the heart of the busy French town of Burgundy, the main aim behind restoring the 19th century barn was to transform the existing structure adjacent to the main house into a space that reflected the outstanding natural beauty of its surroundings. The original walls were salvaged and remain as part of the building however the windows of the property were removed and replaced with large French doors to encourage natural light to flow freely throughout.
A statement waterfall effect island with Silestone® Charcoal Soapstone worktops from the Eternal Collection alter between two levels to create a cascade effect, which eventually extends into a relaxed breakfast bar area. Wood finish units and a green tiled splashback also feature to reflect the barn’s proximity to the lush, green outdoors.
