Dekton Trilium was awarded silver in the 2019 International Design Awards in the Design For Society/ Eco-Sustainable Design category. This award further builds on Cosentino’s long-standing commitment to sustainability.
Trilium was the first recycled color within the Dekton line, with 80 percent of the content used in Trilium coming from excess materials from the Dekton manufacturing process. Trilium captures the visual texture and color variation of aged and oxidized stainless steel with hues ranging from deep grays and blacks to rusty undertones, giving it an incredibly genuine appearance. Incredibly smooth to the touch, Dekton Trilium is impervious to the elements, including scratches, stains, UV rays and temperature shock.
Dekton Slim, one of the latest innovations from Cosentino, was also recognized in the Awards, receiving an honorable mention in the Home Interior Products- Materials and Surfaces category. A game changer for designers and builders, its 4mm thickness offers the same industry-leading technical and mechanical features with a thinner, lighter and manageable format for installation. At half the thickness of the thinnest slab Dekton previously offered, Dekton Slim offers new solutions for high-traffic spaces demanding high-performance, lightweight materials, such as wall cladding, furniture, cabinet and drawer applications.
