Cosentino is delighted to announce the opening of its Cosentino City Los Angeles showroom. The grand opening night, which took place yesterday (3 April 2019), was attended by renowned fashion icon and businesswoman, Cindy Crawford in her official capacity as brand ambassador for the company’s Silestone quartz surfaces.
The new showroom is one of only four in the United States and one of 12 globally. Representing a $1.7 million investment, the 400 m2 indoor-outdoor space offers a high-tech, immersive experience for design professionals and consumers alike in Los Angeles’ West Hollywood burgeoning design scene.
Created specifically for the world’s top cities, the “Cosentino City” concept utilises the latest in digital technology, allowing architects, designers and homeowners to fully experience the expansive offering of Cosentino products. This includes the ultra-compact Dekton brand of surfaces as well as the leading brand of quartz surfaces, Silestone. The City showrooms aim to promote a collaborative and inspiring environment where designers and their clients can discuss ideas, products and designs in an open, modern space, reflective of Cosentino’s signature style.
More than 300 leaders from across Los Angeles’ architecture and design community gathered to celebrate the grand opening. In addition to enjoying delicious cocktails and Spanish tapas, guests were delighted when fashion icon and Silestone brand ambassador Cindy Crawford took to the stage for a conversation on her passion for all things design and fashion, moderated by Jessica Kantor, editor of LALA Magazine.
Notable guests in attendance included EVP of Global Sales and CEO of Cosentino North America, Eduardo Cosentino; Marketing Director of Cosentino Group, Santiago Alfonso; Cosentino North America Director of Marketing, Massimo Ballucchi and Manager of the Cosentino LA City showroom, Jason Cathcart.

Before bidding guests farewell, Crawford commemorated the exciting milestone by signing a slab with well wishes for her friends at Cosentino. “From the very beginning of our alliance two years ago, I felt an instant connection with the Cosentino family — it goes beyond the surface of what they craft. I’m so inspired by our shared passion for the intersection of the fashion and design worlds, and am honoured to celebrate with them tonight!”
The showroom’s 328 m2 interior includes stunning exhibitions of Cosentino’s latest launches, work areas for design professionals, and the Cosentino Selection Centre – a highlight of the space. Using the latest technology, design professionals and consumers can not only instantly view detailed, high-definition images of slabs in great detail, but create lifelike renderings to envision how different Cosentino materials will appear in different residential and commercial settings, and various applications. In addition, the showroom boasts an impressive 63 m2 courtyard, which showcases the unlimited applications of Dekton in exterior applications.
