New Cosentino Belfast Centre Opens

The Cosentino Group is delighted to have strengthened its presence in Ireland with the official opening of its new Cosentino Belfast Centre on 4 October 2018.

Cosentino Belfast Centre

This comprehensive logistics and showroom facility demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to the region and its customers.  Representing a total investment of €406,000, the 30,000 square foot Cosentino Belfast Centre will have the capacity to stock 10,000 slabs from its Silestone quartz, Dekton ultra-compact and Sensa by Cosentino natural protected surfaces brands, enabling quick distribution and offering a range of customers – from stone fabricators and designers to end users and architects – the chance to be inspired.

Darrell O’Kane, the new general manager for the Belfast Centre, comments, “Our business in the Northern region of Ireland has seen consistent growth over the past four years and it is a reflection of this that the Cosentino Group has decided to open a Centre to directly support the stone fabricators and designers of the region.  We are constantly addressing how we can best interact with and supply our customers and the new Cosentino Belfast Centre will allow us to increase our footprint and give our customers convenient access to our product range, both for inspiration and distribution.  As well as having a large amount of material in stock to enable us to continue supporting our customers with excellent service and a quick turn-around, we will also have a state-of-the-art showroom for our customers to use as a sales tool of their own.”

Cosentino has been established in Ireland for nine years, having opened its Dublin Centre in 2009.  Since then, Silestone has become the most recognised brand in the quartz market place in the region, with the company’s ultra-compact surface Dekton, launched in 2014, going from strength to strength.

Mark Burke, area director for Cosentino Ireland, says, “We’re proud of the strong relationships we have developed and nurtured with our customers throughout Ireland, and we’re pleased to be opening this second Irish Centre to enable us to supply and serve our clients efficiently as the business grows.  We are continuing to invest in the Irish market – expanding our client manager and commercial teams, and furthering our brand presence with advertising in Irish trade and retail magazines.”
