Cosentino Presents 13th Cosentino Design Challenge
Cosentino launches its 13th Cosentino Design Challenge. #CosentinoDC13
Cosentino is delighted to launch the 13th edition of the Cosentino Design Challenge. Supported by 29 global schools and universities, the yearly competition lets students show their architecture and design talent. Open worldwide, it showcases Cosentino’s commitment to the education of future professionals in the industry.
The Cosentino Design Challenge has two categories: design and architecture. The design brief asks students to focus on the topic «Cosentino and energy», whilst the architecture category is based on «Cosentino and water». Students have freedom to research and create their final project, which must include one or more surface by Cosentino. These include Silestone quartz, the ultra compact Dekton or the Sensa range of protected stone.
Students have until the 1 June 2019 to enter via the Cosentino Design Challenge website. After the closing date, a jury will decide on the winning projects. There are three winners for each category, who will be presented €1,000 each, along with three runners up.
Cosentino City Madrid hosted the launch, which included the prize giving for the winners of the 12th Cosentino Design Challenge. Cosentino also hosted an interesting talk by Spanish architect, Daniel Rincón, on the topic of «Luxury Homes in Madrid from the 19th Century».
