Cosentino Newmarket Centre – Grand Opening Friday 26 April 2019
Cosentino is pleased to announce the grand opening on Friday 26 April 2019 of its newest Centre in Newmarket, East Anglia. This logistics and showroom facility demonstrates the company’s commitment to expanding and providing a quality service to its ever-growing customer base. Representing a total investment of £500,000, the 32,000 square foot Newmarket Centre will have the capacity to stock 4,000 slabs from its Silestone quartz, Dekton ultra-compact and Sensa by Cosentino natural protected surfaces brands. This will enable quick distribution to a range of customers – from stone fabricators and designers to end users and architects.
Covering East Anglia and the East Midlands, the new Cosentino Newmarket Centre will be headed up by General Manager, Ross Stewart, overseeing a team of nine staff. Having first joined the company as a client manager, Ross has moved from General Manager at the existing Gloucester Centre to join the Newmarket team.
Ross Stewart comments, “Opening a new centre in East Anglia cements Cosentino’s presence in the area. It allows us to continue to provide the exceptional service we are renowned for to our customers and achieve at least two deliveries to all customers every week. We will also be able to offer our local studios the amazing opportunity to use this facility as a sales tool to showcase our materials in larger formats to assist in their customers’ decision making. I am looking forward to building relationships with existing and new key partners and I know that the team here in Newmarket are eager to show all of our customers what a high level of service Cosentino can provide to them and ensure we remain their go-to surface supplier.”
The Cosentino Newmarket opening brings the total number of Cosentino Centres in the UK and Ireland to nine, with existing Centres in Belfast, Darlington, Dublin, East London, Gloucester, Manchester, Scotland and the Cosentino UK HQ in Hook. In addition, the company also has a flagship commercial design showroom in Clerkenwell, the Cosentino City London, which opened in 2016.
Located within the Newmarket Business Park, the Cosentino Newmarket Centre boasts a central position that is easily accessible. Within easy reach of London and the M25, the Business Park is also only 0.5 miles from the A14 which gives fast access to Cambridge, Ipswich and the East Coast Ports.
