‘McWilliams Luxury Kitchen’ – a Designer Kitchen by Morgan featuring Cosentino Worksurfaces

This luxury kitchen was designed by Darren Morgan of Designer Kitchen by Morgan, and has been shortlisted for a prestigious SIBD International Design Award. Drawing upon art deco and contemporary influences, the kitchen is completely bespoke; a unique installation that has been planned to maximise the functional potential of the space whilst delivering a powerful visual aesthetic.
The striking central island has been positioned diagonally across the room and mixes colours, shapes and finishes for a modern twist on a traditional style. The use of Silestone Lagoon and Dekton Kelya ensures that the worksurfaces are both beautiful and practical, thanks to the materials’ high resistance to impact, stains and scratches. The use of different materials also helps to zone the island and create separate spaces for eating and food preparation, whilst tying in with the contrasting shades used for the cabinetry, all with touches of silver for an opulent, cohesive look. What’s more, whilst the elegant, polished Silestone Lagoon worktops mirrors the finish of the floors and helps to reflect the abundance of natural light, the dark Dekton Kelya helps to ground the island and bring the finished kitchen together.
