Cosentino Asia is proud to be recognised for taking climate action and has successfully offset 15,000kg of CO2 through the replanting of 300 mangrove and seaweed seedlings in Dompak Island, Bintan, Indonesia.

In June 2021, Cosentino partnered local Singapore social enterprise, Seastainable, in the preservation and rescue of the sea in Asia to mark the World Oceans Day. Starting with beach clean-ups in Singapore, the collaboration expanded to include Jakarta-based CarbonEthics in carbon conservation and marine and coastal restoration. Together, we have successfully planted 100 Marine Mangrove seedlings, 100 Estuarine Mangrove seedlings, 100 seaweed seedlings, and provide funding research for sustainable seagrass bed planting in Dompak Island, Bintan.

Our collaboration not only restores the environment, but also has positive impacts on the coastal community of the island. Through the trainings and community development that CarbonEthics provide, this initiative is transforming the socio-economic of the farmers.

This action is a testament of Cosentino's commitment to both the planet and the environment, in the regions and markets where the company operates. The company continues to explore ways to reaffirm this collaboration to raise awareness on environmental consciousness and practical sustainability by involving Cosentino's industry partners.

Let's care for our ocean, our planet.
