Cosentino conquers Milan Design Week 2022 with novelties and innovation

Welcoming the "new normal”, Cosentino returns to the much-awaited Milan Design Week after a two-year hiatus with a successful participation. At the Salone del Mobile held in Rho Feria Milano, the event welcomed 262,000 visitors from 173 countries. Meanwhile, in the city, the Milanese authorities estimated more than 400,000 visitors participating in different programmes staged in showrooms and shops, and at the Fuorisalone.

In this context of re-imagination, Cosentino has once again stood out in the key areas of the prestigious design festival, announcing its latest and long-awaited launches this year both at the Fair and at Cosentino City Milan, receiving a multitude of clients and professionals from the five continents, and participating in some of the most acclaimed installations at Fuorisalone.

The Cosentino booth at S.Project not only served to showcase the brand’s latest innovative products and organise meetings with visitors to the fair, it was also the perfect setting to offer a sneak preview to two main launches this year: the impressive Kraftizen and Onirika collections of the ultracompact carbon-neutral Dekton® surface. Both collections will be rolled out in Singapore later this year.

These novelties were also presented at Cosentino City Milan. Located in the heart of the city, the showroom hosted an array of exciting programme line-ups daily for clients and consumers, including events such as “Let's Design – Design in Dekton®” Contest with the presence of Joe Bastianich, Cosentino's new ambassador in Italy, or the exclusive introduction of the new Scondido washbasin collection by the Dutch designer Remy Meijers and made from Silestone® Sunlit Days neutral carbon surfaces.

Finally, Cosentino products were showcased at different Fuorisalone projects including one of the most popular installations - Divided Layers by furniture manufacturer Kohler, in collaboration with the designer Daniel Arsham, presented at Palazzo del Senato. It demonstrates the different applications of Dekton® in this impressive proposal.

At the Hotel Melía Milano Masaccio within FRAMES, an immersive installation designed by the studio Vittorio Grassi Architects boasts various Cosentino surfaces: Silestone® Eternal (Marquina and Calacatta Gold) and Ethereal Noctis surfaces, as well as Dekton® Laurent and Trillium colours.

As in previous years, Cosentino’s presence continues at the Palazzo Francesco Turati with Masterly – The Dutch in Milano, where Dutch designers, artists, artisans and companies occupy with their designs. This year, Cosentino Netherlands teamed up with the industrial manufacturer Pillen Group for their proposal on outdoor kitchens.
