Join us to see where all the magic happens. “It is so nice to have a countertop that is so easy to use. It can withstand so much, and it’s very good for when I’m baking and cooking”, says Ida.

Ida Gran-Jansen first became known to the Norwegian people when she won Hele Norge Baker in 2013. Since then, she has published a total of five books with tasty recopies for children, Christmas, everyday like and, not at least, delicious baking. On a daily basis, there are well over 200 000 followers who pick up on tips and tricks through social media.

With a family with young children, we find a U-shaped countertop made of Silestone in the colour Calacatta Gold, which fits perfectly with the beautiful kitchen from Huseby. Now it is her own children who have found their place on the bench. “When the children some home in the afternoon, they jump on the countertop to get something good to eat”, says Ida with a smile.

And Ida’s best tip for good taste? “Use enough butter! Proper butter makes everything taste good”, she concludes.
