This elegant urban kitchen and pantry area has an industrial feel with a hint of tradition. The transitional design contrasts the slimline Shaker doors in an immaculate white 2 Pac satin finish with the sleek Laminex Black 'Absolute Matte' of the island doors, the dark patterning of the 12mm Dekton Kreta benchtop and splashback and the geometry of the black powder-coated steel frame. On the rear wall, black top fillers and kickers make the white cabinets stand out, while the curved edge to the Lo & Co 'Carlisle' handles softens the impression. The island is sleek and modern with no handles, and the slim Dekton benchtop seems to float above the steel frame. A lined niche with ‘Stact’ wine racks and LED strip lighting highlights the client’s wine collection and creates an interesting feature. Other practical features include an appliance cupboard hidden behind wingline doors, and handy inner drawers concealed in the cupboard below the microwave. The white slimline Shaker doors and Lo and Co handles are continued through to the practical pantry storage area and mudroom.
