Set within the Domaine du Montcel, Dolce by Wyndham Versailles reveals a renewed interpretation of its interior spaces. Rather than pursuing contrast, the renovation seeks balance, establishing a subtle dialogue between architectural heritage, contemporary design and the technical demands inherent to high-end hospitality. Here, every surface contributes to the identity of the place, carefully considered and brought to life through a rigorous approach to materials.
In this vision, materials play a central role. Cosentino surfaces were selected for their ability to combine aesthetics, performance and durability, while their execution was entrusted to Marbrerie De Zorzi Frère, whose craftsmanship and precision were key to the success of the project.
The social spaces
As the heart of the hotel’s social spaces, the bar stands out as a signature element. The bar counter in Silestone Eternal Noir asserts a strong, almost architectural presence. Its intense black tone, delicately veined, captures the light and interacts with brass details to create a refined, intimate atmosphere.
Here, material becomes structure. The expertise of Marbrerie De Zorzi Frère is evident in the accuracy of the lines, the finesse of the edges and the seamless continuity of the surfaces. Beyond its visual impact, Silestone Eternal Noir meets the demands of intensive use: a non-porous surface, resistance to stains and impacts, ease of maintenance and impeccable hygiene. Essential qualities for a bar environment, where aesthetics must coexist with daily performance.
In the restaurant, the project adopts a softer, more mineral expression. Silestone Ethereal Glow guides the guest experience with elegance, from the presentation counters to the reception desk and the buffet areas. Its light tone and subtle veining enhance the sense of space and brightness, structuring the functions without imposing them.
Precision in execution is crucial here. Marbrerie De Zorzi Frère expertly adapted the material to bespoke furniture, integrated the surfaces into complex layouts and ensured visual coherence throughout the space. Designed to meet hygiene standards and withstand the repeated demands of food service, Silestone Ethereal Glow offers durability, ease of cleaning and long-lasting aesthetic stability.
Technical areas, where performance meets design continuity
In the kitchen areas, the project embraces a more technical approach without abandoning design coherence. Dekton Kira is used as wall cladding, bringing a sober, contemporary mineral presence to an environment subject to intense constraints. Resistant to heat, impacts, scratches and chemical products, this ultra-compact surface perfectly meets the sanitary and functional requirements of a professional kitchen.
Once again, the quality of installation is essential. Marbrerie De Zorzi Frère ensured a precise and durable application, guaranteeing long-term performance while maintaining aesthetic continuity with the public-facing areas.
The renovation of Dolce by Wyndham Versailles demonstrates how mastery of materials can become a true project signature. Cosentino surfaces, combined with the craftsmanship of Marbrerie De Zorzi Frère, illustrate a shared commitment to reconciling demanding design, operational constraints and durability.
A project in which every surface is designed to last, where aesthetics serve functionality, and where the precision of execution reveals the full potential of contemporary design applied to luxury hospitality.
