Cosentino was selected as the material of choice for the renovation of Stanford graduate student housing. The Blackwelder, a 12-story building, is part of Stanford’s Escondido Village High Rises for graduate students and recently underwent a major renovation. Cosentino was proud to work with this prestigious institution to provide the countertops for all 227 units.
The in-house design team at Stanford worked with Cosentino, who provided a cut-to-size quote for Silestone Miami Vena in 20 mm thickness. The project was delivered by Cosentino’s factory in Spain in just 14 weeks. Part of the Nebula collection, Miami Vena is a neutral design with light veins over a pure white canvas.
Silestone, more sustainable than ever
Out of the factory in Spain, Cosentino offers cut-to-size services, a personalized solution adapting the materials to the needs of each project in terms of color, design, shape, finish, and installation. Cosentino provides a comprehensive service for material customization, tailored solutions, technical support, customer service, compliance with flexible delivery dates and post-sales services.
With Silestone, Stanford students living in The Blackwelder will enjoy top-of-the-line kitchen countertops that are beautiful and will stay looking like new despite time and use. What’s more, Silestone is now more sustainable than ever with Hybriq Technology, a premium blend of minerals and recycled materials.
