A unique space that combines a passion for cooking, design, and personal style – that's how you could describe the kitchen of Michał Korkosz, cookbook author and a true – expressive and passionate – personality of the Polish culinary scene. In his first apartment, the influencer, known as Rozkoszny, opted for an interior that would be both a homely retreat and a stage for creating culinary content. Cosentino materials became a key element of this space, complementing the design both aesthetically and functionally.
The project was designed by architect Marcin Czopek of the Mistovia studio, known for his ability to combine bold textures, colors, and forms into a harmonious whole. "Michał's kitchen had to be the heart of the home, a meeting place, and a workspace. We needed durable, beautiful materials that would withstand everyday wear and tear – and Cosentino proved to be the perfect choice," says the architect. "The initial vision envisioned a more elaborate form, but discussions with Michał allowed us to focus on authenticity and functionality. This resulted in a kitchen that is ergonomic and practical, yet versatile enough for anyone to easily incorporate into their everyday interior," says Marcin Czopek.
The central kitchen island was clad in custom tiles and topped with Sensa Vancouver, a Brazilian quartzite from Cosentino, which, as the architect emphasizes, impresses not only with its culinary-inspired appearance but above all with its durability in everyday use. Vancouver impresses with its matte finish, and Cosentino protects its surface with a unique coating that penetrates the stone's structure, protecting it from stains.
In the design, Marcin Czopek applied the principle of "don't cover, expose" – choosing to encase the visible structural elements in elegant Scalea Rosso Lepanto marble from Cosentino, which became a striking decorative feature of the interior. Cosentino materials were also used in other areas of the apartment: Scalea Ceppo di Vagli quartzite in the bathroom and dressing room.
"Throughout the entire conceptual process, Michał personally inspected every stone – this allowed us to find a common language around textures and colors, while also introducing personalized and timeless elements into the interior," adds the architect.
The final result is a space where design meets culinary passion. Today, Rozkoszny's kitchen is not only the backdrop for his films and photo shoots, but above all, a place for friends to gather, sample flavors, and… the simple pleasures of home life. The project, completed using Cosentino products, inspires the Rozkoszny community and demonstrates how, through thoughtful selection of materials, you can create an interior that is both beautiful, durable, and full of personal character.
