Crowne Plaza - The Warsaw HUB had its opening in November 2020. This modern, multifunctional hub in the center of Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is an outstanding building and attention catcher. Two skyscrapers connected by a bridge are a place for conference centers, relaxation zones, hotels and office space. This is also the place for the first hotel from the Crowne Plaza chain in Poland. The interior design was entrusted to the Tremend studio from Warsaw, experienced in similar projects.

The main theme in the interiors of Crowne Plaza is the Vistula River and its unique wild nature. Respect for nature is manifested not only in this clear reference to the river, but also in the conscious selection of materials. Common areas are covered, among others, with Silestone by Cosentino, company that constantly develops its circular economy model. On top of that, Cosentino surfaces are characterized by exceptional durability and wear resistance.

“We decided to choose Silestone because, first of all, we want to cooperate with producers that respect the natural environment. Besides, this material fits perfectly into our main theme. The veins presented on the slabs bring to mind a river, which is in the center of our project”, explains architect Magdalena Federowicz-Boule, CEO of Tremend.

Scandic The Reef is more than just a hotel. Its attractions and facilities which are typical of a water park plus its Caribbean decor, offer a completely unique experience to visitors. Everything at Scandic The Reef is a journey into nature and fun, where you can hear the sound of rushing water around every corner. This tranquillity is also present in the cloakrooms, where the H-Line washbasins by Silestone can be found.

The hotel’s interior designers were looking for a material that was both highly resistant and visually appealing. The H-Line washbasins by Silestone, in Aluminio Nube, provide a clean and neat appearance, including features such as mitred edges, which give a smooth finish to the entire structure.

In addition to its beautiful design, Silestone is easy to maintain and clean, it withstands daily use and does not lose its properties or colour consistency over time.

Located in the wooded area of Lage Vuursche (The Netherlands) you can find Hotel Ernst Sillem Hoeve. This former coach house from 1880 has 85 modern hotel rooms, a restaurant, a swimming pool, an infrared sauna, 2 hotel bars and 20 meeting rooms.

Hotel Ernst Sillem Hoeve combines the grandeur from the past with current modern facilities. In 2018 the restaurant part was renovated. Etienne Bouten, of B+B Interior architecture, took care of the design.

Eye Interior architecture studio had a clear idea from the start. When the restoration of the 140 bathrooms at the First Reisen hotel in Stockholm was initially considered, they knew that Silestone was the perfect solution. They needed a low-absorption, scratch-resistant material with hardly any joins, so that it would not be affected by daily use.

It also had to be beautiful, combining classic with modern touches in the personal and intimate space of a bathroom. Silestone Yukon, with its glossy finish, met these requirements perfectly, providing visual continuity and a tranquil, contemporary style. With its off-white colour and elegant grey tones, the Yukon series enabled the en-suite bathrooms in this centuries-old hotel to be updated.

Motel L is located in Älvsjö, Sweden, in a strategic location close to Stockholm International Fairs and Congress Centre building. Since its opening in 2014, this motel has been welcoming a large number of guests most of the year round. The developer of this building project, Botrygg AB, realised that the hotel would need the most durable materials to cope with the daily grind of both the common areas and one of the key elements of any room – the bathrooms.

Silestone was the architectural solution chosen for the washbasins in all bathrooms at the Botrygg AB hotel, as it met the main requirement: easy maintenance thanks to its high resistance to scratching and minimal joints, which makes the material extremely durable – Cosentino provides a 25-year warranty for Silestone – and visually appealing.

In June 2018, the Mediterráneo Bay Hotel & Resort opened its doors after a full refurbishment to celebrate its 25th anniversary. This cornerstone of the Almería hotel industry is located in a peaceful area on the seafront in Roquetas de Mar. With 367 rooms, an enormous lagoon-shaped swimming pool, a second pool with water slides for the little ones, a children’s club, a fitness centre and much more, the Mediterráneo Bay Hotel & Resort is a four-star paradise perfect for a dream holiday.

Cosentino became a trusted partner in this refurbishment process. Its presence can be felt throughout every inch of the common spaces and rooms in the hotel, with materials from its Dekton, Silestone and Natural Stone brands.

Dekton a contribué à l’installation d’une grande partie du revêtement au sol des deux hôtels, à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur. Les pièces grand format signées Dekton (320 x 144 cm) ont permis de créer de superbes revêtements au sol de première qualité dans les chambres, les parties communes et la partie en extérieur autour de la piscine. Les pièces Dekton de plus petit format ont revêtu les sols des douches dans les salles de bains attenantes aux chambres, des escaliers, ainsi que du Spa 5* et de la piscine chauffée. Sa durabilité, sa résistance à l'abrasion et sa facilité d'entretien quotidien en font le produit idéal pour le revêtement de sol.

Ayant opté pour l'uniformité de la couleur, les revêtements Dekton ont été déclinés dans différentes finitions tout au long du projet avec des tonalités de gris clair doux telles que Danae, Blanc Concrete, Sirocco, Edora et Keon. Trilium, une couleur éclatante a été sélectionnée pour recouvrir l’espace autour de la piscine chauffée.

Il a fallu 10 ans au Spanish Court Hotel pour s’établir comme l’une des propriétés les plus remarquables des Caraïbes. Il est devenu l’établissement préféré des voyageurs dans le top 3 des hébergements, d’après les sites Web de voyage spécialisés. De nombreuses qualités rendent cet hôtel unique, notamment le style de sa décoration, qui associe des éléments naturels de l’environnement caribéen à des matériaux modernes et innovants. C’est le style que Christopher Issa, propriétaire du Spanish Court, souhaitait conserver et sublimer lors de la rénovation de l’hôtel en 2019.

« Nous voulions que l’hôtel célèbre la beauté naturelle de la Jamaïque », explique Issa qui, au côté de son équipe, a recherché les matériaux les plus adaptés au projet. « Le designer voulait un plancher blanc et trouver le matériau approprié constituait l’un de nos plus grands défis. » Dekton by Cosentino et sa grande variété de couleurs.
