Prolific restaurateur and designer Lauren Bryant wanted to create a fun, sophisticated, and rustic environment for her latest down-home venture: Pearl’s Place Restaurant & Pantry. Lauren is known for designing her restaurants beautifully, giving diners a full experience complete with stunning aesthetics and delicious food.
Creating a comfortable atmosphere with attention to detail was key in the design process, which aimed to make the guests feel welcome and appreciated. Lauren used her keen eye for detail to balance the industrial edge of DKTN Trilium, the material selected for the restaurant’s bar top. She used a tall stone fireplace and large wooden beams to create a rustic yet cozy atmosphere perfect for a pub space.
The bar featured an angled shape and Surface Creations of Vermont took exceptional care in installing the DKTN slabs with smooth, almost invisible seams and the perfect build up with an impeccable templating and installation.
There is nothing more demanding than a commercial space, especially a busy restaurant. DKTN is the perfect material ensuring aesthetic value and durability for years to come.
